There are two printers in the library, one on each floor. Each printer has free color and black-and-white printing for Shaw U faculty, staff, and students.
SPRING 2025: WE HAVE RECEIVED NEW PRINTERS AND THE PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS HAVE CHANGED.
To print, you must use one of the library's desktop computers:
1) Login to the desktop computer using your Shaw login. This is your Shaw ID number and your Bearsnet password.
2) Open your document or image. In this file, select Print. Word documents or Google documents will be File>Print. Other types of documents will have a printer icon.
3) In the printing box that opens, change the Printer or Printing Location to Library 1st floor printer if you are on the first floor or 2nd floor if you are on the second floor. You may have to first select See More to find these printers. Select Print.
4) Documents will print immediately at the nearest printer. You do not need to login to the printer. Make sure to log out of the desktop computer before leaving the library.
